The bulk bag manufacturing process consists of three basic steps.

Extrusion: Virgin polypropylene granules, calcium carbonate, ultra violet stabilizer and colour pigment being melted and converted into tapes in an extrusion plant. This is the first stage and determines the tensile strength of the tapes.

Weaving: The extruded tape bobbins are loaded on to a creel (warp tapes) and threaded through the headle wires of a circular loom. Weaving looms consists of 4, 6 and 8 shuttles which are loaded with bobbins (weft tapes). Here the tapes will be woven into fabric of a required GSM and size, and will be wound in roll form.

Converting: This consists of a cut, print and sew operation. All the different components are cut to size with heat cutters. This includes polypropylene material for the main body, webbing for the lifting loops and other accessories like spouts and tops. Next the bulk bag fabric is printed on an individual single pass flexographic printer before all the components are sewn together with   manual sewing machines to form a completed bulk bag.
